Peripatetic Music Lessons

Music has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. In a house with 2 musician parents, I was encouraged to play & listen to all styles of music. I began to play the drum kit at age 4, and percussion and timpani age 13. By this time I was performing with orchestras, bands & ensembles on the Isle of Wight. After graduating from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama around five years ago and gaining experience working in education at college, I realised I enjoyed, loved and had a passion for teaching and working in education. I enjoy teaching both Trinity syllabuses, as well as my own compositions and encouraging the children to create their own drum piece and have a go in an African Drumming or Samba group. I hope for my students to be as versatile as they can be and explore many forms of percussion and drumming. I moved to Dorset around three years ago from North London and I teach at Port Regis, Clayesmore, for Dorset Music Service, Dorset Rural Music Service, privately and at St Andrews, Fontmell.

Mr Bett teaches weekly 20 minute guitar, ukulele and bass lessons at Pimperne school on  Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. These can be taken either individually or are shared between 2 students.
