After School Care from 3pm-6pm
Please click on the links below:
Wrap around Care times and costs
This provision is available to all families who need to ensure their children are safely engaged in our After School Club on any school day from 3pm until 6pm.
The Club offers a good staff:child ratio and a variety of activities both indoor and (weather permitting) outdoor throughout the course of the week. Children will be offered a snack and drink at the club, or you may send in a packed snack from home if you would rather.
Registration forms are available from the School Office or from the After School Club Co-ordinator, Katie Raine.
After School Club Registration Form
All bookings for the After School Club must be made using the ‘School Money’ system. Bookings must be made by 9.00am on the Friday before the following week that sessions are required.
You should receive a text message and email with the link and your password, please enter the mobile phone number and email address that we hold at the school when logging in. A user guide for parents can be found on our school website under the heading Parent, and sub heading School Money.
The Club is able to offer emergency care on just a few hours notice, should parents be caught in traffic or have a change in their plan for the day. To make use of this service please telephone the school on 01258 452025 or email the school office on office@pimperne.dorset.sch.uk before 3pm.
If you have any questions about the Club please contact the After School Club Co-ordinator, Mrs K. Raine by email on: afterschoolclub@pimperne.dorset.sch.uk
It is a requirement and essential that on collection the responsible adult signs the collection register.
The current time slots available for booking are:
3.00pm-4.00pm – £5.00- This allows a bit more of a leisurely pace to collect children from school after a busy day or for those one off occasions when you may be late collecting them.
3.00pm-5.15pm – £8.50 – For those that need that little bit longer.
3.00pm-6.00pm – £11.50 – For those that need this provision.
The club will have a maximum of 30 spaces for children for each session. The staffing will reflect this and therefore last minute bookings or those NOT made via the on-line booking system will incur a further manual administration charge of £2.50 (for each session) and/or may not be successful if the club is fully booked.
If you do not have access to the internet please speak to the School Office. In order to guarantee a place for your child, please book and pay in advance using the online system. We do not wish to turn people away, as refusal often offends, but we are now limited to numbers . Places will be allocated at the time of each weekly closing (Friday morning) on our School Money booking system. We understand that emergencies happen and if there is space available, we will happily add children onto the register, however, as this is done manually and then a payment request has to be set up – an administration charge of £2.50 will be made in addition to the cost of the provision.
We have maintained the cost of our provision, despite rising costs and inflation. It remains very good value and in line with local providers. It is a provision that we are proud of and the staff involved in the running of it are committed and dedicated to the children’s welfare and enjoyment.
Payments must be kept up to date. Breakfast Club and After School Club payments must be made within 10 working days of notification. Any disputes need to be raised with office staff by the first statement. As always, if you are experiencing financial difficulty, please speak to Mrs McCarthy or Mrs Waller. Any conversation will be treated confidentially.
